If I’m living in the end with my SP, but I want trips planned to see each other before we live together, should I express that desire or just let it happen?

My end goal is for my SP and me to live together. Before that happens, I would love for us to plan trips and spend time together. I want to know if I should express this desire or simply stay in the end and let it unfold.
